Val d’Orcia 2018.

I first shot this scene in Jan 2016, it has since become one of the most iconic scenes in Tuscany. It has a Gladiator feel, which was filmed close by. My first image was shot in pouring rain but this morning was just magical as the fields were covered in a low lying mist. The farmhouse at the end has disappeared for a more graphic and simple interpretation.
